John Ricco had quite a following in the "Junction" area of West Toronto for several years before opting for the quiet life in rural northern Ontario. Songs of his like "North Country, My Home" and "If You Know And I Know" bring strong images of the appeal that the northern part of Ontario holds for many nature loving Canadians.
